Sunny Days.

I’ve been doing a lot of traditional painting lately, trying to get away from what I am comfortable with.  Anyways, this was a christmas present for a friend of mine; also, “Happy Holidays” to any readers out there!

Scott, i really like this! The colors remind me of the beach. To me her hair is like sand and the back ground blue is like water. I could totally see this babe sitting by the ocean.

How big is this painting? Lately i have been painting in water color on eight and half by elven sheets. I will be posting some on my blog today and tomorrow, check it out.

    Thanks Nathan.

I tried aiming for the retro color palette you’d find in the 1950’s. It’s part one of two, the other is in the works but due to some time constraints, it’s not finished. The original painting is 11.5″ x 22″, it’s pretty big.

Sounds good, I’ll definitely check them out.
