Forgetless Cover #5.

Busy busy times. The final cover to Forgetless, featuring Sara and the guy in a koala suit. Traditionally painted with some digital enhancements. The original painting is 16″ x 24″ or something along those lines.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, it being my first time working with acrylic washes over a gloss medium. The toughest part was scanning and stitching this together in Photoshop. Anyways, Enjoy!

    Man – incredible shimmering kaleidoscope effect on the backdrop and the way it carries over to the lighting of the figures.

    IMHO, it feels like a fresh and unique treatment and visual language.

    I’m glad you like it. The kaleidoscope effect is something that is throughout the whole story, so I am happy I was able work it in to the cover. Thanks!
